The film offers three strong roles for three leading actors. In addition, it offers a strong and deep connection for several “dog-loving” celebrity turns who could even appear in the film – with their dogs. The film’s concept supports solid opportunity for product placement support from major pet product manufacturers and retail entities, as well as support from animal rescue groups and pet-related organizations.

Artful Deception

In 1967, shock waves reverberated throughout the art world. The twenty-year career of the century's most prolific art forger came to an abrupt end. He was Elmyr de Hory. As much mystery surrounds his true identity as does the fate of his prodigious output. Where did all his art end up? Few of the world's prestigious museums, galleries and private collectors that allegedly purchased his works will admit to having done so. To date, no feature length film has ever been made on this colorful man and his amazing story. Until now! Real Fake is feature-length theatrical film written by industry veteran Robert Reitano with story by Jeff Oppenheim, and inspired by the documentary film “Real Fake” by producer/filmmaker Jeff Oppenheim. A white collar crime story similar to “Catch Me If You Can” meets a epic art world caper similar to “Th Thomas Crowne Affair,” the film chronicles the life, art and crimes of the world’s most prolific art forger, Elmyr de Hory.
